There are so many fun things to do with children for Christmas. Being a christian preschool we stress giving around Chrismtas time. Every Christmas we adopt a family. Each classroom is assigned a child from the family to buy for and we leave a box outside of our room to collect gifts. We have such generous families, we filled the box within a few days. We explain to the children about giving and we tell them that these gifts are for children who don't get lots of presents, like they do. All of our children were super sweet and were very excited to collect presents.
I provided tons of fun wrapping paper, ribbons, bows and tape and let the children in our class wrap up all the gifts. It was there favorite activity all week!
We also visit the infant room and sing them Christmas carols!!!
I am always saving our food delivery boxes...because we all know how much fun a 4 year old can have with a cardboard box.
For Christmas we practiced wrapping up boxes which quickly turned into wrapping up eachother!!!
